Provincial Nominee Program
The various Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) allow provinces to attract specific newcomers to their region. Most provinces have a program to target skilled workers and new business to their region. Some of the more unique PNPs aim to attract self-employed farmers, health care professionals, international students, semi or low skilled workers or have eased criteria for settlement in specific regions. Most provinces will also access the Express Entry system; a provincial nomination will significantly impact your CRS and enhance your chances to receive an ITA.
